Energy Audit

An energy audit is an inspection, survey and analysis of energy flows for energy conservation in a building or installation, process or system to reduce the amount of energy input into the system without negatively affecting the output.

Energy conservation can result in increased financial capital, environmental quality, national security, personal security, and human comfort. Individuals and organizations that are direct consumers of energy choose to conserve energy to reduce energy costs and promote economic security.

JEC conducted an energy audit under contract with GHK: PREPARATION OF PUNJAB CITIES IMPROVEMENT INVESTMENT PROJECT (PCIIP) for ADB (Asian Development Bank) & Urban Unit (UU) in the continuation of Survey Report on Tubewells and Sewage Pumping Stations in Sialkot.

A comprehensive study was carried out in the form of individual site surveys with the help of necessary gadgets for measuring the required operating parameters for adopting the strategy of adjusting and optimizing energy requirements per unit of output by reducing the total cost. The conducted survey was to estimate the impact of energy cost of pumping water on the overall budget of municipal and water authorities.
